Oct 2005 Virago at Accelerate Awards presentation at the ICC
As part of The Midlands Niche Vehicle Network, Virago exhibited at the prestigious Accelerate Awards Presentation at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham, UK.
The Midlands Niche Vehicle Network (MNVN) is sponsored by Advantage West Midlands and Accelerate - both government programmes to support industry.
The Accelerate Awards are presented annually to regional businesses in the automotive supply chain, based on excellence in operation and service.
Two examples of Midlands automotive engineering were on display in the mall at the ICC for the afternoon and early evening. The James Bond Jaguar XK (with the side mounted rocket launchers) cut a menacing look alongside the sleek Virago Coupé - with both attracting much attention.
