Racing Roots
The designers of the Virago Coupé include Chris Greville-Smith and Norman Morris, experienced in automotive styling and engineering with Jaguar, Rover, and Land Rover for over 20 years and several other global automotive companies in freelance design and styling positions.
Chris was the founder of Phantom Racing, designing and building successful racing chassis for the Supersports and Clubmans formula racing classes. Although Phantom Racing is now based in Sweden, in recent years Chris’ designs have enjoyed significant success and are recently doing so in the hands of Jamie Champkin and other drivers.
